Can you Turn off trackpad?

I have the Magic Keyboard and read you can not turn off the trackpad but I also have the Magic Mouse so do not want the trackpad to word because if I wear a long sleeve shirt it drags across the trackpad and moves the curser which is irritating.

while I get that the main function of it is an all in one design some of us in the world do not do well with trackpad and buy mice/mouse to make our lives easier.

I can not be the only one with this problem.

If there is a way to now turn it off could someone let me know.
