You cannot install macOS Ventura on your MacBook Pro Mid 2012. You cannot install macOS Ventura on any Mac older than 2017.

If the hard disk on your MacBook Pro Mid 2012 is locked, then you have to unlock it first before you can do anything with that Mac.
