For joining a school FaceTime session, you may only need to click a link that is provided for students, to join the call online.

Else, to use FaceTime with family or friends:

Wondering if your school computer is a Mac, and which Mac OS version is installed.

(To check: click the black apple in the top menu bar, and choose "About this Mac".)

Choose the correct MacOS version at the top of this article,

and check if you have the requirements for FaceTime on the school computer.
