Use of special characters on iPad
How do I insert a “copyright” symbol in a text on my IPad? I have a separate keyboard available, but would like to know what code to use and how to use it.
Kind regards,

The code for an English keyboard is Option G. © If yours is a different language, tell us which one.

You can use the Copyright emoji ©️ from your iPad’s built-in keyboard. Bring up the keyboard on your iPad and then tap the World symbol (bottom left) until you see the emoji keyboard. Search for “copyright” and you will see the emoji that you can use.

Danish is also Option G. © What does yours produce?
As described, the native touch keyboard may be too limited for your needs. There are many third-party keyboard extensions that provide direct access to a broader range of special characters - including ©.
One of the popular alternatives, frequently recommended here, is TypeFinity:

It actually works!!!
Apparently my many years of work with a Windows desktop PC keyboard never made me aware of the existence of an “Option” key on the bluetooth keyboard I use for the iPad!
Many thanks for your help!
My keyboard is with Danish characters.
Here is the rest of the option level in case it is useful
