Folder structure on MacBook like on Windows device

Hello,

I would like to ask you how it works with installed programs on MacBook Pro 16 M2 chip.

I installed an one game from Steam and it works well. This game is translated by our community to Czech language (Baldur's Gate 2 EE), needs to rewrite just one file in a specific folder and can't find on MacBook.

If I use the Parallels with Windows 11, it works well.

How can I find a folder (if is possible) in MacBook where are the installed files similar to a Windows structure?

Thank you

Applications are stored in the /Applications folder. Each Application is a package file.

Hold the Option key while you click on an icon of an Application, and choose "Show Package Contents" form the pop-up menu, and a 'Contents' folder will be shown. Open the contents folder and the moving parts of the Application will be shown.

Here is an example from textedit:

localization files are designated using standard language abbreviations and end in .lproj, so the example above show several localizations already in place.
