16.4.1 accessing WiFi and cell data

Updated IOS software 16.4.1 today on IPad and iPhone. I cannot connect to home WiFi and Verizon internet unless I reboot devices each time. I have reset network devices on both and it works until I don’t use devices for a while, then I have to reboot again. Even tried to forget network and connect again. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

Thanks for response. I got help from Apple support. It was my vpn app causing issues even though my vpn was not connected. Once I deleted that app, everything started working. I have reinstalled that app and everything is still working.

Hello stever2002,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

To start, we recommend following the steps found here: If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

These steps will take you through some of the basic steps to help with the behavior you’re seeing.

If those steps don’t work, let’s try connecting to a different Wi-Fi in a different location. Doing this will allow us to see if this is specific to your Wi-Fi or Verizon or if it is specific to the iPhone.

Kindest regards.
