Magic Keyboard - Not so magic
Some of the special function keys on my new magic keyboard don't seem to work (volume, screen brightness, etc.). Can or do I need to install some sort of driver?
iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

OMG. I figured it out and you are going to kick yourself off how easy this fix is..... Go to Keyboard Settings -> Under Keyboard Navigation, click the Keyboard Shortcuts... BUTTON. On left side of the settings to choose from click Function Keys -> Turn OFF Use F1, F2, etc. keys as Standard Function Keys... Yeah.... It fixed it immediately for me...-_-

Hi @kylreeeee
OMG I'm excited to see that you were able to fix it. I don't seem to be able to for some reason...
Do I turn off all the keys (e.g. F7, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6 F8 and the two 'command symbol' keys)?
I turned them all off and the volume is still not working. When I press volume keys it just makes the finder windows fly into the corners of the screen - waaah!!
