Siri remind me of this not working

I did some testing and it’s the keyword “of” that is the issue for me.

“remind me of this” doesn’t work, but

“remind me about this” does work

I thought “of” used to work as well, but I can’t be sure.

This actually worked, thank you. Looks like you have to be more specific about what you want to be reminded of. I had always been saying remind me of this and it worked fine but until recently it stopped working. Now I have to say remind me of this note at specific time or date and now that works.

I am experiencing the same exact issue, however, I tried with "Hey Siri, I want to be reminded about "this email" or "this note" (or whatever etc..) in one week from now (or whatever timeframe is applicable)"...and it works.

It looks like that by changing the wording to "I want to be reminded about xxx in xxx from now", Siri links the item you want to be reminded to the actual reminder, but you've got to be using this same exact wording...Go figure out.

3. Comment: that this all stated after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed form there as necessary

Yeah it’s not working for me either, specifically for emails. Used to work quite flawlessly, while looking at an email I’d say ‘Hey Siri, remind me about this tomorrow @ 9am’, and Siri would make a reminder with the subject line as the title, and a link the email!

Now whenever I say ‘remind me about this’, Siri just makes a reminder that says ‘remind me about this’. with no link to the email.

I’ve tried different phrasing, soft/hard resetting the phone, but no change. And on the latest iOS as well!

”remind me about this” is working again when viewing a Safari web page. It still doesn’t seem to work for anything else, like when viewing an email or calendar event for example. And it most definitely used to - I used to use it all the time.

I just tested it in both Notes and Safari and it worked with just "Hey, Siri, remind me about this". It then asked if I wanted to add a time but still made the reminder even if I didn't add one. Can't test using Apple Mail as I don't use it but it also worked fine with Spark, the email app I use.

It’s hit and miss in Messages for me. If I say “remind me about this” or “remind me about this tomorrow” it works, but if I try to add a time to the reminder it fails. It’s very inconsistent.

When you say; “hey siri; remind me of this”. What "this" represents is not clear even to me as a human how do you expect Siri to understand.

When you command Siri to do something be Specific, it will do.

I tend to mispronounce “of”, with “ub” (such as “ubcourse” instead of “of course”).

Growing up, you learn to speak and then pronunciation catches on. It’s no more than a habit.

This worked for me, thank you! And I should have been doing it this way all the time to add the reminder date to my task.

Same issue here. Additionally I can’t use it for reminding me to call someone from my contacts
