Verification not working in Apple wallet

So I wanted to add my credit card to Apple wallet.After I added the card it showed complete verification.I clicked on complete verification and it showed an error message saying “verification not available and to try after few minutes” I tried again after few minutes but it is still not working..Pls help me out
