Seiko Smart Label Printer
Has anyone had recent trouble with their Mac recognizing a Smart Label Printer? It's USB-A and I'm having to connect it via iVanky docking station.

Test the Label Printer connected directly to the iMac using a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

This seemed to work! When I directly connected it, the printer was recognized. Additionally, when connected back to the docking station the printer was still recognized and continued to print successfully. Thank you.
You're welcome.
Does that iVanky Dock have an external power source?
If not, then it may not provide enough power for more than one bus powered external drive and a couple of other devices.
It does have an external power source.
Then it should have no problem handling a couple of bus powered drives and other devices.
