Sound drops on alarm and ringtone why?

We actually experience the same behavior when looking at our iPhone when an alarm goes off, and it's expected for it to lower the volume due to the Attention Awareness feature. If you disable that feature, then test for the same issue, let us know more details about the circumstances in which this is happening when your alarm sounds, and we'll go from there. The more details we have, the better we'll understand what's happening.
