Audio is always muted when playing videos stored in the Photos App
Dear Apple: Why are you people making things so much more complicated in operating our iPhone which seems to be the pattern since iOS 6? For the longest time, I have dealt with the frustration of always having to toggle the audio volume to “on” whenever I play video as the default is “off”. My time, like so many of us is limited, and we don’t have time to explore every little feature that Apple incorporates with each release. To resolve this muted volume issue, I just learned that I needed to turn “off” the “Auto-play Videos and Live Photos” feature. Come on; this is in no manner, the obvious place to address this issue. You folks need to think in a sequential pattern, not in a pretzel pattern. There are so many other issues with iOS anymore that I am on the verge of switching over to your competitors and just stomach the problems they have. I need a “re-set” as well as Apple development teams because iOS has become broken. iOS has way too many features and there should be a way to toggle banks of these features on and off. We shouldn’t have to drill down umpteen layers to find a switch. Please consider my frustrations as a sincere request to being back simplicity and logical structure designs to iOS.
