shuffle button not working properly

if i go to shuffle music the app will freeze and the only way to get it working is to turn the phone onto standby and back on again, its stupid, and sometimes it will pause the music when i do that as well and when i go to play it then it'll pause again, the latest update does not fix this, when will it be fixed

When I hit shuffle the track listing only displays "Not Playing" and never plays any music. I was able to clear the issue once by restarting the phone but that has not resolved the issue since. Can't shuffle Latest update to my iPad has caused the shuffle function to stop working when playing music in my 2021.5 VW Atlas. Each time a song is finished the shuffle function shuts off when advancing to the next song. So for now my options are to reengage the shuffle button each time after a new song is selected which is annoying and unsafe or allow each song to play alphabetically. What to do?

Apple Music Shuffle Lag/Crash Apple music Lag/Crash After playing a song and hitting the "play next" button I then try to hit the "shuffle' button and that is when Apple Music lags/crashes. Is anyone else having this issue? im on ios 16.4.1

Force close the app and force restart: Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (AU)

If that doesn't help offload the app and download it again.
