how do I fix my payment method, I have tried everything

Check you are signed in (to your device) with your Apple ID:

Sign in with your Apple ID – Apple Support


If there is a particular problem situation:


What to do: If a message says 'billing problem with previous purchase' or 'verification required' - Apple Support


What to do: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

If you just want to make changes to your payment method:

You might want to log in to your Apple ID account online, to update the details there:

Apple ID Log-in 

https://appleid.apple.com

Else:

Apple Support have articles online that may help you.

NB: If you want to delete an old card, and if you have active subscriptions or payments due, you would need to add a new card first.
