iPhone 14 with 16.4.1 always needs to forget Bluetooth devices

Very annoying. I have several devices which won’t auto connect when powered to this phone. When clicking on the Bluetooth device the phone must forget the device in order to continue. Toggling Bluetooth in the phone and the device shows up and connects fine, and then stays connected with no problem until I’m done with the device; power it down. As soon as I try to use these devices again the phone requires them to be forgotten and the cycle must be done again, and again every single time.

all devices have similar problem.

Apple Watch works fine however, radio in my truck is fine as well.

I tried a bunch of online suggestions even the network reset and nothing has helped.

my old iPhone 12 never has this issue. I Just moved to the iPhone 14.
