Turn off Mail followup

iOS/iPadOS16 has introduced a number of new features - one of which is Mail Follow-up. This is an “intelligent” feature that detects, for messages that you send, that a question has been asked for which a reply is anticipated.
If you don’t wish to use this feature (that is enabled by default), it can be disabled in device settings:
Settings > Mail > [Messages] Follow-Up Suggestions - set to OFF

At present, the iPad User Guide - usually an excellent source of information about iPad and iPadOS, offers almost no information about this feature - limits comment to how the feature is enabled/disabled.
