how do i remove the screen recording icon on the top of my screen while recording on my iPad?

The screen recording indicator has a fixed position on the iPad screen - and cannot be relocated.

how to remove the screen recording icon on ipad. After i disabled screen recording in the Control Center on iPad, the button stays on the screen, cannot be removed. That seems to be a bug. Is there anyway at all to remove it?
