Adding Chat GTP to Siri

I just wanted to know people’s experience with doing this? At first when I set mine up it would load really fast and it was exciting to use. Now it takes forever and doesn’t even work most of the time! I’m a novice when it comes to this stuff though, I watched a YouTube video that told how to set it all up. And like I said it was working fine for a couple weeks. I don’t know I’ve seen some other posts about people’s shortcuts running slow after the update. Can anyone tell me what could possibly be the problem?

TaurGuy ~ I haven't see reports of Shortcuts running slowly nor noticed it myself. You haven't said which implementation of Siri – ChatGPT you're using, but this one is from a reputable source:

TaurGuy ~ ChatGPT's own free app is available in the App Store of some countries:

ChatGPT app for iOS & iPadOS

...Installation will add a ChatGPT 'action' to Apple's Shortcuts app. Below is a simple custom shortcut using that 'action' — the shortcut being triggered by the shortcut's name, in this case: "Hey Siri, GPT." (And the conversation with ChatGPT can be continued via Siri.)

That is not a supported feature by Apple. As such there's no real help we can provide here. Contact whoever provided the instructions for that and ask them.

At this time Apple has no official way of adding chatGPT to Siri. You are on your own with such endeavors.

Well, I asked about the shortcuts running slow also? Can I not get any input on this at least? Like is it something people are having issues with after the last update?

Shortcuts are running fine here, and as mentioned any reports about shortcut slowness around the forums. Sounds like something with the chatGPT implementation for Siri or your specific device.

I think at the moment we cannot integrate ChatGPT into Siri. Only Apple can do that. If you want to use ChatGPT on your phone, you can try this site: https://cgptonline.io/
