Airplay Netflix to Apple TV.
Is apple restricting the use of a feature (Airplay) when trying to airplay Netflix using data on iPhone 14 to any Apple TV that has no internet connection?
I can airplay many things except Netflix.
I do not connect my Apple TV to the internet. I travel with my Apple TV and connect it to hotel televisions, vacation home projector… etc.
hotel internet login screens are inaccesible via Apple TV and I do not have internet at vacation homes because I just use my mobile data. Tethering is slowed after reaching a limit of tethering data rendering Netflix app useless.
being able to multitask on my powerful device (iPhone 14) is awesome but limiting a feature honestly renders it useless in this situation.
So I can make my Netflix screen smaller hide it while I multitask but I can’t just airplay it while I multitask? Why?
Please elaborate on the reason airplay is restricted limited or blocked.
Even if the video quality is rendered at a lower resolution I would prefer that over not having a way to use the feature.
Im sure I’m not the only one who feels this is absolutely unfair and restrictive.
