iPhone SE 2000 has corrupted key file on PC

This concerns transferring three photos from iPhone SE to a Lenovo PC. I use a password generator called KeePass for many years. To open this I use a master password and keyfile together. After plugging iPhone into PC to transfer a photo, the KeePass keyfile is overwritten & changes "pwsafe.key" to an Apple Keynote file. Replacing file with a virgin copy immediately becomes corrupted with Apple Keynote file. Cannot remove from PC using all methods I know of. This has rendered the password generator useless. Need help.

The PC is using Microsoft version 10. 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor (i3). The iPhone SE is as follows:

iphone SE 2000, iOS version 16.3.1, Model MXCH2LL/A

iOS version 16.3.1

iOS version 16.3.1

Model MXCH2LL/A

Serial # FF***LJY

This anomaly has never happened in past transfers from iPhone to PC. Perhaps related to one of the latest iPhone iOS updates?

Thank you, IDEXXIAN 35
