What is the brightness level you usually set on your MacBook Pro?

What is the brightness level you usually set on your MacBook on everyday usage (video, YouTube, work...)? And what is recommended? Im currently using MacBook Pro M1 Max 16 but it only last me 4 hour of heavy use (Premiere...) and 5-6-7 hours of Youtube, web surfing, Netflix and my brightness level ranges from 65% to 85% (too much sunlight). I don't know if the reason is because of my brightness level. Thanks

Regarding the battery life of your MacBook Pro M1 Max 16, it's possible that the high brightness level is contributing to the shorter battery life you're experiencing, but it's likely not the only factor. Heavy usage of intensive applications like Premiere can also drain the battery quickly. It's a good idea to monitor your battery usage and adjust your settings accordingly to optimize your battery life. You can also try closing any unnecessary applications or processes and reducing the screen resolution to conserve battery life.

Just keep it charged to fix the issue.

I use a MacBook Pro '14 M1 (A2442) at work with 50% brightness. Despite the fact that I have a large number of programs running and several system audit agents constantly running, including antivirus, my laptop can easily withstand an eight-hour work day.

Perhaps this will be important. My battery status is "Normal", 100% capacity and only 13 recharge cycles. I also try to stick to the 20%-80% method

Today I decided to additionally enable the power saving mode when running on battery power.

I set the brightness level to what is comfortable to me, not everyone else. That said of coarse the computer will consume more battery power if the screen is bright while you are also using apps that require power intensive operations.

Hi,

I don't think blaming for opening many apps or reducing the screen resolution not to say keep it charged is the best solution since its a laptop and its supposed to last us at least 8 hours (heavy use) to 10 hours (light use); your solutions should only be the last resort. Besides, Im trying to identify the root cause for this. You don't sound like being experienced at all.

Thanks anyway
