Magic Keyboard changed the keys

Am I the only one that doesn't like that the Magic Keyboard keys aren't the same as a normal keyboard? The left shift key is further out and instead the ~ ` key is where your pinkie finger is used to going. And they changed the alternate symbols on the numbers. The # used to be paired with the 3 key but now you have to hit Option3 (instead of shift 3) to get #. I know, sounds simple, but for those of us used to typing, this is a pain!
