Everytime im listening to music even on a low volume ill get a notification and it is SO LOUD. Ive tried everything online i saw and it still isnt working. Ive tried Change with buttons, adjusting the tone volume and nothing is working and it give me literal headaches. PLEASE HELP it didnt used to be like this one day i said something and it said something back and now its so obnoxious.

Hey emma_jo2305, I've been there. What I've learned is that if my notification buzz is higher then when connected to AirPods it makes the chime louder. If you turn down the notification slider then that should fix this. How to do this click on the volume down button when AirPods are NOT connected. Then you will feel haptic feedback and see the drop down showing that you are reducing the intensity of which your notifications are announced.
You could also toggle siri announcing your messages OFF by doing to Settings >> Notifications >> Announce Notifications and turn it off.
