Before 16.4.1 and 16.4 I was able to download any App from the store using only FaceID, now I’m being obligated to do the double click step on the right button to be asked for FaceID, is annoying to do this every time.
How can I disable the double click step?
I already know the assistive touch and switch control options, but having those active makes UX very annoying.

You can't disable it. This is not new, it has been there on all iPhones with Face ID. Probably you are experiencing it now.
Double Click is a physical confirmation required to ensure you have accepted it. The mere use of Face ID to purchase/download may result in lot many accidental purchases.
