modifying disk access MacOS 13.3.1

it looks like I can just see what apps have disk access (and what

level of access they have) rather than modifying it. How do I actually

control access? I have admin on the machine, but nothing was asked of

me in those regards.

I am on MacOS 13.3.1

Instead of clicking on Files and Folders in Privacy & Security, Click on the right sidebar option called, "Full Disk Access". Then choose the apps that have access there.

Can you clarify that statement? Or post a screenshot without personal information?

You can turn off items in the list. You can also remove them using the tiny “-“ button at the bottom. But you can’t add new apps. An app has to request access to a protected area first. You can use the check box to approve or deny. If you remove an app, it will ask again the next time it tries to access something.

Full Disk Access is similar, but not quite the same.
