Help - mistakenly delete python from the operation system

Hi, I think I maybe accidentally delete the python that came with the macOS. I have the update version (Ventura 13.3.1), and when I check in /System/Library/Frameworks I don't see Python.framework or something with python at all . But I do see usr/bin/python3 (in bin has unix file python3). Can someone tell me if it is OK? this is how its should be? thanks:)

  1. Predicated On a Stock ( Original Installation ) on this computer as Brand New with Big Sur macOS 11.
  2. The machine has been upGraded to Monterey macOS 12 and has since upGraded to Ventura macOS 13.3.1
  3. Have never install HomeBrew or Python via a manual method.

I have not found Python 3 listed in either of the two locations in the Image below

That being System >> Library >> Frameworks OR

System >> Library >> PrivateFrameworks

OK, so I guess I don’t have problem after all:). Just to confirm - there is no other version either of python in the two locations you showed? (Or any something else with the word python, like Python.framework etc). I do have Unix file name python3 when I go to usr/bin (it a onlyread file, to show that on finder you need to press shift+command+dot). Do you see that?

thanks for helping:)

Apple removed the Python 2.7 distribution from the operating system beginning with macOS 12.3, and never bundled Python 3 with the operating system. Python 2.7.18 is now deprecated and unsupported by Python.org.

I keep my Python 3 up to date by using the Python.org universal2 installer. This installs into /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework with links to Python binaries in /usr/local/bin.

Both of Apple's optional Command Line Tools for Xcode 14.3 and Xcode 14.3 itself install Python 3.9.6 binaries into /usr/bin.

I do not recommend other sources or methods for obtaining Python 3.
