After a recent system update, my Mac is refusing to turn on wifi. Have turned on/off unsuccessfully. I can turn wifi on briefly in settings, but it turns itself off and says 'not connected'. Wifi has previously worked seamlessly and is working fine on other devices.

Then it may be a hardware problem, bring it to Apple
Or, try a SMC reset

Just to confirm: I have a 2017 iMac 21.5 inch with macOS Ventura 13.2.1. Is that latest/best available?
Have attempted SMC reset by turning off computer, unplugging, etc. No change.

Thanks. Ummmmm.... I don't think so - I'm just connected to home wifi via wireless router. That's worked fine for years on Mac and is still working on other devices
