We're having some trouble determining what you're attempting to do.
If you're attempting to edit a photo, provided both devices are updated to iOS 16, you can do so in the Photos app on either device: Edit photos and videos on iPhone - Apple Support
Similarly, you can shoot and edit video on either device via the same Photos app: How to edit videos on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - Apple Support
