Why are emails going to the VIPs inbox?
Mac mini, macOS 13.2
Go to Mail > Settings > General > New Message Notification. Make sure it is set to Inbox Only.
In the VIP mail box, remove the star next to the name in the email. It will be in your Inbox. To add a person as a VIP, just click the start next to their name.
In the email, if you hover over the sender name, you will see a start next to the name where you can select and unselect them as a VIP. If your new messages were set to the VIP mailbox, then you might not have had the star to mark them as a VIP and it just sent all of them to the VIP mailbox.
I set New Message Notification to Inbox Only. But I don't see a star next to any names.
