Apple Music/Smart playlist issue

I currently have 3 playlist synced across my devices. I have a “Loved” smart playlist which I setup using my Mac. A “My Shazam Track” which is created and updated automatically when I use Shazam and a playlist a saved from Apple Music called “deep house 2023”

The issue is that when I “love” a song in Apple Music it doesn’t always add to playlist BUT sometimes it does. I have noticed songs I “love” in the “My Shazam tracks” usually add in there when I “Love” them but when I’m browsing Apple Music and “Love” random songs, they don’t add. Very confused and quite frustrating actually. Any help appreciated.

Replying to my own question as I may have come across the answer. I believe Loved song will only add to the smart playlist if they are or have been added to you library. This is an issue as there is now a bunch of songs out there I won’t be able to find again to either save them or unlove them as these loved songs will be effecting the music Apple recommends to me. Happy to be corrected!

You could also try manually adding the songs you love to your playlists, rather than relying on the automatic syncing feature. This way, you can be sure that the songs you want are included in your playlists.

There is no way to view “Loved” songs apart from creating a smart playlist via Mac. When it works all loved songs should appear, in this instance they aren’t so I can’t even see which song I have and have not loved
