last week i picked up my order. but i didn't receive the email about the e-invoice.

We are your fellow end users, not Apple. We have no access to Apple records to research this.
We can do this:
1) Did you buy directly from Apple or from a reseller? If the latter, Apple won't send an invoice for a reseller transaction. Contact the reseller.
2) Check all your email accounts including their Junk and Trash folders. Apple usually sends to the email address associated with your Apple ID.
3) If that does not work, log into your Apple ID page and find the list of devices you have registered. Find the item in the list and that will lead you to a printable invoice if you bought directly from Apple. This article show how

Invoices should be there unless the devices were purchased more than about ~18 months ago.
