Export Final Cut Express Timeline to Final Cut Pro X

I received 3 FCE files. I was able to successfully convert them to current FCP XML files. Each one seems to contain a Project/timeline when imported into FCP 10.6.5. No errors encountered in the conversion process (FCE -> FCP7 -> FCP7 XML -> 7toX/SendToX -> FCP 10.6.5 compatible XML). If you need more converted, please upload them (and provide any instructions, contact info, etc.). Thanks.

Someone should be able to help by importing the file into FCP 7 and exporting an XML, which could then be processed to make it work with the current version of FCP...

Not sure how your friend could export an FCE project to XML without the sequences that are contained in it. The XML export wasn't done correctly if there are no sequences.

So are we all I think. The warning may just be a bot after it removed the link. I certainly don’t get them every time but I have in the past. Perhaps of you do it too often in a thread you get smacked.
