ARP is the address resolution protocol which links devices on a network at layer 2 of the OSI model.

What kind of connection are you expecting while they are sleeping? What is it you need it to be connected to do while it is asleep?
I have seen some posts indicating some things "shut down" while sleeping that didn't shut down before. It's nothing I've cared about, so didn't investigate to know the full story.
I found it looking at me when I clicked on Network in the finder.
I was trying to work out why, when I've got ethernet, Bluetooth, and wifi all switched on and my iPad and iPhone are both plugged in and 'asleep', why they are not automatically connecting to my MacBookPro, like they used to do.
They don't appear on the Network screen either.
It would likely depend on the context by which you found it.
I have no HomeKit things at all - unless GoogleChrome on the TV counts as HomeKit these days.
