Projector and Apple TV
I have a new home projector and I plan to use a new Apple TV with it. What can I do to get sound?

you can let it connect to bluetooth Use Bluetooth accessories with your Apple TV – Apple Support (UK)
or airport 2 speakers like homepod
or look into splitting the audio from the hdmi Amazon.com : HDMI Audio Extractor

Hello, I am also facing a similar issue, so can you please let me know what an optical cable is? Can you please suggest a brand for such cables too? And, I am confused about the connecter at the end of the cable, which is supported by my device or not.
Thanks
It’s a flexible bundle of long glass fibers that transmit light. Search on “digital optical cable” or “fiber optic audio”. Belkin and Crest make them, and so does Philips who has been in the glass product business for ages.
Your audio device needs a socket that looks the same shape as the one on the back of your Apple TV box - the rectangular D-shaped one that lights up red.
You can also plug in an optical cable, and run that to a Dolby 6.1 speaker system (or whatever they have now)
