FaceTime and Screen Rotation

Whenever I am on a FaceTime call, whether or not screen rotation lock is on or off, if I go to the Home Screen with the FaceTime call still running and rotate the screen, the screen will still rotate even though the screen rotation lock is turned on. Can there please be a future update where screen rotation is applied no matter what screen or application you’re on?
