I’ve been trying to charge my AirPod pros but the case won’t take a charge not even a light will come on

"Not even a light" suggests the problem could be your Lightning cable, power adaptor, or even the wall socket. Also check the charging case Lightning socket to make sure it has not collected lint to block the connection.
