Blocked email don't go to bin.

I have Enabled blocked mail filtering, and selected Move it to bin.

Mail don't go to bin automatically and I must move manually.

This is an old question (April 22).

Does anybody have a solution or is Apple engineering still working on the subject.

Thanks for you attention and help.

Roger

" Normal " and as for correction by Apple. Refer to last portion of this reply

I agree the " wording " in Mail could be better

As pervious Contributor has mentioned, it does get move to Junk Folder

This is my understanding.

Sometimes we mark a Sender as Blocked and sometimes in error or we have a change of mind.

Better it goes to Junk before Deleting ?

Then have a few suggestions ;

1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .

2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue

iOS and macOS are both Apple Operating System but work differently in Mail.

Under macOS 13 Ventura which appears to be your operating system - refer to an earlier posting I have posted in this question

Under macOS 14 Sonoma, it appears Apple has made that change " Move to Trash " ( Bin ) to actual works as it should have in Ventura but did not

Blocked email don't go to bin.
