Contacts icon gone

My contacts icon disappeared from my IPhone. App is not in utilities folder. A restart did not help, neither did ICloud syncing. Also tried software update. Contacts are not gone though: I can access them via App Store by opening the contacts app. How do I restore the icon on my screen?

Use App Library to search the Contacts app, see this Apple article: Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone -> Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone - Apple Support

  • If you have find the app, tap & hold on the app, then drag to the Home screen & drop it.
