Home Bar Wont Work

My home bar wont work on some occasions. usually i have to turn my phone off and on before it responds again only to go back to not working after a couple of minutes. no matter how much i swipe to return to my home screen or change apps it wont respond. any suggestions?

iPadOS 26 screen sticking and app closing issues on iPad Air I have an iPad Air and had installed ios26. However since the latest update I find that the screen ‘sticks’ when scrolling through different applications - safari/facebook/youtube are the man places Iv noticed. also I cannot close my apps - I swipe up from the bottom but then cannot swipe up and away the open apps - this also happens when I tried to turn the iPad off and start again - I couldn’t swipe the ‘off’ bar but can tap the close button! any suggestions and anyone else have a similar issues!? Why does my Control Center freeze when editing Widgets after 18.4 update? Ever since 18.4 update, when I try to edit/rearrange the control center widgets, the phone will freeze for about 30-60 seconds, then refresh to the main screen. This happens 100% of the time without fail. Any suggestions? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
