App updates for different Apple ID

I have 2 different Apple ID’s. When reviewing the app updates available, why is it asking me for the password to my other Apple ID?

I want to update Apple Store I want to update Apple Store app in App Store but when I press update I’m being asked for password for different Apple ID. Not the one I’m logged into in App Store

must enter apple id password for every app update? Why? Yes, even if I select update all. must enter apple id password for every app update? Why? Yes, even if I select update all. Does your staff even use apple products? I am assuming not, or this would have been fixed by now.

The copy you have was downloaded from the other Apple ID, so you'll be asked to log in with it. The accounts themselves don't have specific versions associated with them, just a record of which items you've gotten with it.

So, the current ID I’m signed into, (and adding that same app) doesn’t need the update, just the other ID does? I’m so confused.. lol
