How do I update a debit card?

I had to get a new debit card since the old one was falling apart. It's the same number but with different expiration date and CVV. Apple won't let me edit the debit card to make those updates and I keep getting reminders to update my information. What do I do?

Suggestions to add the new card details, then you may remove older original card afterward.

The matter of changing dates and CVV numbers, is evermore tedious these past few years.

Takes lots of effort, sometimes with little evidence of gain. I had issues recent card updates.
