How to link a lost phone
i removed my Wife phone off her iCloud…how do I relink it back so I can do a factory reset on it

We understand that you have remove your wife’s iPhone from Find My since the phone is lost. We are happy to help.
Once you have removed the phone from Find My, there is not a way to remotely add it back to Find My. If the phone was still connected to Find My, you could use it to locate the device and remotely erase it. Here’s what Apple recommend if your device is lost or stolen: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support
- "Look for your device on a map
- Mark as Lost
- Report your missing device to local law enforcement
- File a Theft and Loss claim
- Remotely erase your device
- Contact your wireless carrier
- Remove your missing device from your account"
