Ultrawide 49" Display <> MacBook Pro 2019 in Ventura 13.3.1 issues

Still having the same issues as many of the 49" wide screen users are.

I have spoken to Apple Support and they said they see many of the same issues, they hope to have a bug fix soon but no date given. I am using the monitor in the smaller 36" wide (PIP) mode on my LG 49" monitor. Hope this is resolved soon.

49-inch screen display problem Hi, I'm using a Philips PHL 499P9 for 3 years. Since the update on Mac OS Ventura 13.0, the screen display on "Low Def" for many resolution. There is the same problem at the beging with Monterey, but Apple fix it with the latest update of Monterey. I was able to chose differents resolution without down scale. Since the update of Ventura, only the 5440x1260 is not down scale. I usually use the 3840x1080 resolution to have a bigger image on my screen. Now on this resolution is downscale. Mac OS display it on low definition. I know there is many post which speak about this. I am disappointed that Apple did not fix this long known problem. Especially since it was fixed under Monterey. This post is just to make Apple react to find a solution and propose an update quickly. Apple, you know how to fix it and you have the people who can fix it. So please make an update. So many people use an external monitor and need it to work efficiently. Thank you.

Unable to change resolution on extended display / external monitor Hi, I've been using a Toshiba monitor as an extended display for my 13inch MacBook Pro M1 for over three years. After the last Ventura upgrade, something seems to have gone wrong with the resolution. The monitor view is now blurry and everything on it is enlarged to the point of being virtually unreadable. I have tried adjusting the resolution of the extended display in the System Settings (as per instructions on Apple's site), but this doesn't seem to be working as it should. It's now only offering me two resolution options for this display (800x600 default or 1280 x 1024). When I try to click 1280x1024, it immediately jumps back to 800x600. I've tried unplugging, turning off and on and reconnecting, but nada. I've also scoured Google for other recent reports of this issue and haven't been able to find any suggestions to fix it. I did also log an error on the Mac issue site last week, but haven't seen any updates about this. It's getting frustrating and not sure if I'm going to have to replace the monitor, which seems like an excessive fix. This monitor can also be used as a smart TV and all the display viewing options for that are still working correctly with no resolution issues, so it seems to be coming from the Mac. Any ideas? macOS Ventura external monitor woes I just upgraded to macOS Ventura and now my external monitor (BenQ PD2700U, 27" 4K monitor) is all screwed up. The resolution is very tiny. The scaling option is no longer in Settings > Display. You can only switch between "1920x1080 (Default)" which looks enormous, unclear, and awful, or this tiny "3840x2160 (low resolution)" that looks clear but is nearly illegible it's so tiny. I've downloaded all kinds of apps trying to fix this to no avail. I never had this problem with the exact setup in Mojave. It seems like it just needs to be able to zoom in a step or two to look normal again. Any suggestions?
