The AppleScript dictionary refers to "subtitle" as a property of a shortcut. I can't find a reference to a shortcut's subtitle anywhere else.

Using the Shortcuts app, is there a way to set a shortcut's subtitle ?
Sorry but, the Shortcuts User Guide does not mention subtitles. I've have scanned the Shortcuts app and cannot find anything about subtitles. The AS dictionary entry suggests there is a subtitles property but, how is it set ? There is some API documentation but nothing else. Does that mean that the subtitles property is not intended to be user controlled ?
