I often copy bits of text and paste into my own Pages doc

(just for note-taking) but I bring along formatting from the source.

I would like to match the formatting to my Pages doc.

Is there a way? as simple as Copy and Match fonts?

Hi 2weety2

I copied and then pasted your username. The hyperlink was pasted.

Hi 2weety2,

I copied your username and then 'Paste and Match style'. The hyperlink was not pasted. It follows the paragraph style.

Thanks Viking. That works! Copied to Text Edit, app which I had to drag to my dock. Never knew what it was for even tho it’s pretty clear: TextEdit!

Once in the box I Selected All and in the tool bar I chose .9 from the Line and Paragraph Spacing drop down menu. DONE! Thank you!!!! This has been an annoyance forever. it will be very handy.
