Set up a savings account

Let’s start with the basics.

What you need to open and maintain an account

• Be an owner or co-owner of an active Apple Card account and add Apple Card to your iPhone.
• Be at least 18 years or older.
• Have a social security number or individual taxpayer identification number.
• Be a U.S. resident with a valid, physical U.S. address.7
• Set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID and update to the latest version of iOS.
• Apply within US
• Apple Cash Account must be verified

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Please log out of your Apple ID/iCloud account, restart your iPhone, then log back into your account. You may want to wait a few minutes at this point for systems to update. You should see the option to setup your account.

You can try logging out of your Apple ID/iCloud account, restarting your iPhone, then logging back into your account. Wait 30 minutes for services to update and see if the option appears. If not, servers may not update until tonight.

I tried that. It doesn’t give the option to open a savings account. Only to set up payment from an existing bank account.

Do you have funds in your Apple Cash account? Have you verified your Apple Cash account?

I just applied for the credit card & was approved. The article/link mentioned the savings and Apple Credit card together. I’m now trying to set up the high yield savings account.
