If your iPhone's Mail app is not working, there are several steps you can take to try and restore it:

1. Check your internet connection: Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet by checking your Wi-Fi or cellular data connection.

2. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes, simply restarting your iPhone can resolve issues with the Mail app. Press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" option appears, then slide the button to turn off your iPhone. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the power button again to turn it back on.

3. Check for software updates: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and check for any available updates.

4. Delete and re-add your email account: Sometimes, removing and re-adding your email account can resolve issues with the Mail app. Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts, find your email account, and tap "Delete Account." Then, tap "Add Account" and follow the prompts to re-add your email account.

5. Reset your iPhone's network settings: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset your iPhone's network settings to their default values, which can sometimes resolve issues with the Mail app.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact Apple support for further assistance.

I am not receiving any email on my iPhone for the last week?
  • What kind of email (iCloud, gmail, Yahoo mail, Outlook mail, AOL mail, etc)
  • Did you change your email password?
  • Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts - are all of your accounts turned on?
  • Did you update your phone recently?
  • Do you use VPN on your iPhone?
  • Do you get mail on your computer?
  • Can you log in to the webmail portal for your mail provider and check for mail there/

These are a few of the possibilities; there are many more, so if you can provide some additional information it might help someone diagnose the problem.

Did you delete the mail app, and want to reinstall it? To do that open the App Store, search for Mail, chose the one from Apple and tap the download icon.

Or do you mean you aren’t seeing mail in the app? There are dozens of reasons your iPhone may not be working for email. We need to get additional information to narrow it down, or otherwise post dozens of possible reasons, which is time consuming and not particularly useful.

First, did it ever work, then stop working? Or did it never work?

What type of mail account or accounts, if you have more than one (such as iCloud, gmail, MS Exchange, MS Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, etc)

Have you changed your email password recently?

Once we get past these we can narrow down the troubleshooting process.

There are a lot of possibilities for that symptom, so lets start by getting some additional information:

  • Has it ever worked on this device?
  • What kind of email account (AOL, Hotmail, MS Exchange, Yahoo, iCloud, etc)
  • Does it work on other devices (PC, Mac, iPad, etc)
  • Has it ever worked
  • Can you send email
  • Have you changed the password for the account recently
  • Do you have 2 factor authentication set up for the email account
  • Is it a POP, IMAP or Exchange account type

Why is my iphone not receiving any emails

Repeating the post above yours:

What if I have tried ALL these steps and Still cannot get email app to work? It keeps telling me the same thing "No password provided" even though I know 200% I have the correct password

You may know it for 200%, but your email provider knows that it is NOT correct. o you and the email provider will have to negotiate.

My emails are appearing in front of me on the app then disappear. They are on the server and receiving them with outlook and gmail app but I’m not a fan of them. I want my iOS to work. I have tried everything, turned off the phone, deleted the account and reading. Oh I can send a emails from the same account on the app but just not receiving. What else can I do?
