Downgrade icloud

Please go to 'Settings' in your iPhone. Click on your Apple ID on the top. Look for the option 'iCloud' and tap on the same. Click on 'Manage Account Storage > Change Storage Plan. At the bottom you will see an option 'Downgrade Options'. It may ask you for apple ID password for verification. Click on that and select the desired storage.

If the Family Sharing group includes iCloud+, changing over works differently. Click here and follow the instructions.

If it doesn't, keep your individual plan.

Properly Downgrading iCloud:

Two Major Steps...

1. Download All of iCloud, First:

then...

2. Downgrade your iCloud Plan:

If you want to get less storage in iCloud, downgrading your iCloud plan is the way to go. Note that this has a monthly fee. Here is the link to user: iCloud+ Plans and Pricing - Apple Support. Note that this service is not available in all countries/regions.
