No, Apple Savings is a very successful program for both Goldman Sachs Bank and Apple. Apple Savings, like Apple Card Mastercard, requires an iPhone. There is no reason to believe that a web portal will ever exist. Web sites are never as secure as an iPhone protected with 2FA and biometrics such as Face ID.
The web portal for Apple Card covers only the bare minimum. An example would be someone that has their iPhone stolen the last day of the month and still needs to at least make a minimum payment. The web portal exists to allow the bare minimum.
No such emergency exists for Apple Savings account. There is no such thing as an emergency deposit or withdrawal with a HYSA. It just makes no sense to have a web portal. Any help you need for a HYSA is just a phone call away.
Almost a year later, there still seems to be no way to administer the Apple Card Savings account via the web. Is Apple abandoning this program? It shouldn't take a year to develop a basic web app. Three good programmers could do that in a couple weeks, so why isn't this a priority I wonder.
