iPad Apps
Most of the apps I've downloaded won't open. I click on their icon, the screen goes black, and a couple of seconds later I'm back at the Home screen without anything having happened.

Several things to try:
Have you restarted your device? That sometimes clears up odd issues.

If an app or feature on your device is not working or is restricted, it may have been disabled using Screen Time, or by an IT administrator if you are using a device owned by an employer or educational institution.
